Because I love it My work is athletic, it is a form of art that is not often considered an art by those who do not engage in it and by those who pay it no mind. Football (soccer) is a way of life for the vast majority of the world, a religion for those who follow their favorite team the roar of the faithful can be heard in the stadiums and in the street on match day and conversations about it in between. my work in this footballing world is to be the performer. i step on to the pitch i know the movements i have to do in order to accomplish my short terms goals which is to defend my side with everything i have, in the hopes that my teammates will accomplish their short term goals and literally create the goals we need in order to prevail and come out victorious. My movements on the field are a direct result of whats happening. if i have the ball my style and tendency is to go up create an attack on the opposition when i dribble i'm constantly on my toes pondering my next move and skipping around after releasing the ball. If i had no ball on my feet it would appear like a dance due to the movements of my hips, legs and arms.
